Welcome to a new step on our journey.

We are a husband and wife team who have turned a passion into a business. We are happy that you found us.

A Conversation with Michelle Victoria

What is your role in Victoria+Benedikt?

I look after the day to day operations. Mainly marketing, social media content, packing orders, working with customers and generally ensuring that everyone is happy.

Do you have a creative background?

Yes, I love creative writing and gained my MA a number of years ago. Before that I trained as a teacher and worked in primary schools for almost twenty years (My BE.d is in English).

How do you express your creative side?

Through photography. I think I inherited my love of photography from my great and great-great grandfather who were both photographers,

What else do you like to do in your spare time?

I love genealogy and have been researching my family history for many years. I feel that memories and heirlooms are so important.

That’s why I enjoy knowing that our pieces could bring so much joy and may become heirlooms that people take on their journey through life.

“We decided to combine our middle names to create the identity of our brand.”

A Conversation with Tobias Benedikt

What is your role in Victoria+Benedikt?

I look after the design of our collections from sketch to CAD drawing. Making our ideas a reality.

Do you have a creative background?

I started my professional creative journey, learning composition, drawing and oil painting in the artist’s studio of Heiner Meyer in Bielefeld, Germany. I am grateful for this experience and the insight it has given me.

From there I went on to study for a B.A. in Graphic Arts (Graphic Design) in England and an M.A. in Visual Communications in Germany.

Since then I have worked as a Designer for more than ten years, currently as Head of Design for an Equestrian Sport & Veterinary Supplies company.

Have you always been interested in design?

I’ve always been interested in art and design. In fact, my art teacher once told me that I would be a great sculptor and although I did not follow this exactly - I do see our objects as miniature sculptures - they become unique in the context of the individuality of the person who is wearing them.

What do you like to do when you’re not designing?

Cooking & Photography, which I share with Michelle. We like exploring and visiting new places to inspire us for our next adventures & collections…
